PIONEER POTLATCH - A delicious home-style dinner.  Desert and coffee, tea, juice or milk are included.  EVERYONE is welcome. Cost is $3.50 per person.

SOLID WASTE TRANSFER STATION (72526 Welk Road)
Open every 2nd and 4th Saturday from Noon to 4:00 p.m.

SELF-HAUL RECYCLING STATION (on Biggs St. behind Depot Park)
3rd Friday and Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

BURN SCHEDULE: Before you begin burning, check to see if you have a current burn permit… and if you find that you need a new one, stop by Wasco City Hall to pick one up!

            Burning in barrels/incinerators is allowed during the following times:

                        Dates                                Hours that burning is allowed

            October 1 – October 31                 Daylight until Noon

            November 1 – May 31                   Daylight until Sundown

            June 1 – June 30                            Daylight until Noon


                    Burning OUTSIDE of barrels/incinerators is allowed during the following times:

                        Dates                                  Hours that burning is allowed

            November 1 – May 31                    During the hours of Daylight

            July 1 – September 30 NO OUTDOOR BURNING
